Thanks Don for your support!
The countdown to Balsall Beerfest 4 has started – get Saturday, 27th June 2020 in your diary now!
Now in its fourth year, the Balsall Beerfest is about promoting LOCAL breweries and raising money for LOCAL good causes. It is organised by Balsall Common Lions and Berkswell and Balsall Common Hornets Football Club for the enjoyment of the LOCAL community.
We have a great time on the Hornet’s pitch at Lavender Hall Lane with an afternoon of Music, Good Beer and High Spirits. Last year, we had 16 cask ales from at least 8 local breweries within 18 miles of Balsall Common (we think we have the lowest beer miles of any festival).
We also provide music, hot food, gin, Prosecco, wine and soft drinks. Kids are welcome and come in free with an adult but they can’t have any of the booze. No dogs are allowed – except Guide Dogs. Please make yourself at home and bring camping tables and chairs if you wish.
Last year, we were sold out for the third year running. Watch this space for tickets – on sale 1 May 2020!
Tickets will be available from our good friends at Michael’s Drinks & Oakes Farm in Balsall Common. You will also be able to buy online but it costs another 50p a ticket plus 80p – so you need be sure to book all your tickets at once and please don’t complain to me about it if you don’t.
