Church End Brewery started life in an old coffin workshop behind the Griffin Inn, Shustoke. Its goal was to be a ‘hands on’ craft brewery making a wide range of cask conditioned beers . The Brewery philosophy only allows the use of good quality raw materials , such as floor malted barley and whole hops; definitely no processed sugars!
Today, Church End Brewery is housed in a refurbished social club, formally known locally as ’The Dustbin’. It has been there since the year 2000, starting firstly as a brewery and then slowly developing the bar side of the site. The Tap Room’ opened in 2003, locals often say that they are “off to the Church for a drink”. The congregation expanded so much that they were able to add the Vestry in 2006.
